Wade West
Wade West is Founder and President of American Fundraising Auctions, Wade is a licensed auctioneer who has traveled the country appearing before audiences, lecturing, consulting, and conducting fundraising programs. His great public speaking and platform skills are known to motivate and capture an audience’s attention so everyone wants to get in on the bidding. He has been a featured speaker at the AFP International Convention, Planet Philanthropy and other national and international events. He also lectures overseas, sponsored by the U.S. State Department.

His depth of experience adds to his skills on any event. He is a former television news anchor and reporter and knows from personal experience how important organizations are to our community.

As a former reporter and TV news anchor in the CBS television system, Drawing on that deep and varied background, Wade West founded American Fundraising Auctions with the goal of helping organizations around the country be more successful in serving the patients, students, audiences, performing artists, clients, pets and their owners, physicians’ groups and others who depend on organizations such as yours. Now after hundreds of fundraising auctions throughout the country and overseas, and tens of millions of dollars raised for important not-for-profit organizations, Wade is proud to be part of the team making important contributions to our communities.

Jami Smith
Jami Smith is the Director of Fundraising Operations at American Fundraising Auctions. Once a client has secured a date for an AFA auction, Jami works closely with the organization's paid staff and volunteers to ensure the success of the live auction as well as the success of their overall program. By working with some of the most well known and successful not-for-profit organizations in the country, she is always aware and up to date on the latest developments in fundraising and is therefore able to maximize our results at every event. Jami also conducts our classes in auction operations and checkout as well as supervises the auction item acquisition team here at AFA.

Dave Nequette
An auctioneer with more than 30 years experience, Dave is highly qualified to ensure you get the highest bids at your event while your attendees always have a very enjoyable time at the auction. Dave specializes in auctions for athletic teams and their foundations.

Gerard Wood - Jerry has conducted more than 1000 auctions and specializes in Fine Art and Wines. He has traveled the world raising money for beneficial organizations and is known for his ability to add “fun” to “fundraising.”

Paul Kelly - Another fully qualified and licensed auctioneer, Paul Kelly specializes in schools and other educational institution auctions. He also has a strong background in helping organizations acquire high value donations of property and other assets.
